 Here we have some lovely mince pies,

 right after the oven with only a bit of icing sugar for decoration

Sun bread

In August 2009 we had a little free tasting of medieval breads in Aughnanure castle 

during the Heritage week celebrations

The dinosaur cake

My son always has special requirement for his cakes. When he was 8 he requested a dinosaur cake made out of brownie. 
  

Almond cake with sweet Mascarpone filling

3 layers of gluten free almond bases, layered with sweet vanilla Mascarpone filling

Decorated with lemon butter cream and toasted almonds on the sides

This cake was made to order, up to the requirements of the client

MILKY WHITE BREAD with sunflower seeds

MILKY WHITE, rolled in sunflower seeds before baking

Ingredients:

 strong white flour, yeast, salt, half milk - half water

margarine,  a bit of muscavado sugar

pumpkin seeds for the topping

Working Hard

Even when work is hard and plentiful we can always find a few minutes to have fun and relax

or in my case do something creative with the camera
